Trip Begins!!

One of the best trips I ever had begun in the evening of 26 November 2017. A trip to Odisha and Kolkata. It started with the departing in the train to Sambalpur. A comfortable and scenic journey, with my parents. We were lucky enough to capture a beautiful sunset. In the start, we got the company of an old family friend and his wife. An intellectual person, telling his views on the current journalism and literature, daunted with its plight in our city, Bikaner. Totally agreed with him, people don't write for writing, they write for money and that too of a standard except for a handfull of people. Leave it.

In the journey, we passed through a couple of states, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh. Madhya Pradesh was a beauty. Mostly covered with vegetation and that too beautiful. Every moment outside was capturable. But it was not possible as the window of my coach was not cleaned and made the photo to be captured almost impossible. But Railway too good, responded very quickly to my complaint and made the thing perfect.

Then in Sambalpur, I loved the city, a peaceful one and especially its railway station. Sambalpur is one of the largest and the oldest city in the Odisha. The food, I didn't like much. No match to Rajasthani food even if Rajasthani make it there.

Summing Up: our Journey was very comfortable. Railway at its best but not all workers, the one who waits for being called to do things like that window cleaner. Sambalpur is a peaceful city, people are cooperative and patient. But they are practical enough. You need to be smart there. That's what I take away from there.
