It was a fantastic match. A shocker for everyone. A common thought which every football fan had was that Chelsea will dominate and win the match. But No!!. The match had turned the other way because of amazing performances by Red Devils and amazing tactics by Jose Mourinho. In terms of the team , both of them were not equal in any manner. Chelsea was almost playing with an unbeatable team while Manchester United had a weakness in terms of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford because they are young , though talented , but seemed not to be so talented to face the rock solid defense of Chelsea. But they proved everyone wrong. At the end of match, they became an unexpected threat to Chelsea's defense which led to the defeat of Chelsea. Long runs by Lingard and constant penetration by Rashford to the Chelsea's defense were brilliant.A nice through ball by Ander Herrera which was well picked and dribbled by Rashford through Chelsea's defense and a fine shot by him in one on one encounter with Begovic marked the 1st goal of Red Devils.Their brilliance was accompanied by an excellent Ander Herrera. He displayed himself as one of the best marker in last years, in this match. He became a hurdle for Eden Hazard , running through whom became an almost impossible task to be done by Hazard. Throughout the match Herrera became the shadow of the Hazard who would not leave him at any cost. He also scored a goal for Red Devils by a powerful but deflected shot. But all this hard work would become useless if Manchester United's full backs formed a loose defense. But they weren't. Instead they were like a group of world class defenders which made Diego Costa frustrated and angry, even made him to commit a foul. Though Pogba , Fellaini and Young were on the pitch but their presence was overshadowed by others. In the end , it was well knit unit which dominated the premier league leaders.

About Blues, their defense was weak against a young attack. Their midfielders
were not so good and their attack was not so good against the Manchester United's defense.Overall, they were not as good as they supposed to be.

In the post match interviews, Mourinho was happy with the game while Conte was ready to accept the responsibility for the defeat.In the last phase of premier league, every match matters a lot to every team because they can be benefited or harmed by the results of these match. Same was the case in this match, though Manchester United moved to 5th spot closer to 4th spot but Tottenham Hotspur was also benefited by it. Win of Red Devils and defeat of Blues meant a title threat by Spurs at the end of the season.
