To be a class it requires patience, hard work , determination, skill , will and affcourse a dream is must!!! Steven Gerrard, An English and Liverpool Legend, a born talent who was the found of Liverpool Scouts and at the age of nine he joined Liverpool Academy. At the age of fourteen he had trials at various clubs but Anfield was his destiny. He wished to dream the Liverpool jersey and he wore it on 29 November 1998 in a Premier League match against Blackburn Rovers as a Last minute substitute for Vegard Heggem. From that day, he never looked back and if looked for just being better. In that season, he became a regular substitute for captain Jamie Redknapp in midfield. In the next season, he was a partner with Redknapp in midfield. And in 2000-01 season, the glory started. He made fifty starts in all competitions and scored ten goals as he won his first major honours with Liverpool - FA Cup, Football League Cup, and the UEFA Cup. He was named PFA
Young Player of the Year by his peers.. In the season 2004-07, he got the Chamions league and FA
Cup success. In his club career, he made total of 748 appearences and scoring
191 goals. He just played for two clubs, i.e., Liverpool and L.A. Galaxy. He
made just 38 appearences for L.A.Galaxy. He made 114 appearences for the
nation.He was a contsant member to the record books. He was a legend for his country too. He was a great player for his nation. His best field partner was Frank Lampard. Both the great played for their countries almost together. Some of his record are as

Gerrard played his final game for Galaxy on 6 November 2016 in a MLS Cup Playoff penalty-shootout loss to Colorado Rapids.
