Burning Rajasthan!!


May '16 a month which have brought Sun on Top like never before in Rajasthan. Shining and heating the land as if pretending "I'm The Boss!". Each and every city and town is experiencing intolerable summer, breaking temperature records of past and present. Bikaner and India-Pakistan Border experiencing 54 degree Celsius and Phalodi also 53 degree celsius. Sun didn't grant clemency even to Jodhpur this time as it was earlier considered that the summers were moderate in Jodhpur but Jodhpur is also experiencing a very hot summers this year . Whole Rajasthan is waiting for the first monsoon showers but wait seems to be much more long than ever had.

But the precautions could be taken to resist these heat waves and also to look after problems of water scarcity and drought. Drinking water and avoid wasting of water as much as we can, these are the things which should be looked after by everyone.

This excessive hot summer is surely a result of our interference with the environment and this summer we should learn a lesson that "We should not disturb the Environment or Environment will disturb us". So, Lets hope we will live upon these words.

It's been a month since he passed away. Every time my father calls someone in the early morning or late night, I think he has dialled his phone. Every time my father brings a magazine to home, I think he has asked him to bring one. It feels like this birthday too, he will ask me to bring a book and will ask me which book I am reading or was reading lately. But I know nothing is gonna be the same. Academic Year 2017-18 Ends

A life of student goes around an academic session. So, is mine. Today, another academic session ended with a cocktail of feelings- happiness, regret, enjoyment and grief. The happiness of doing so many things, the regret of not performing academically as I should, enjoyment of meeting so many new people, the grief of not able to manage everything, But I know time will bring something good for me. Happiness- The year was a roller coaster of experiences. In the summers, I wrote my first story and the most important feeling of appreciation from my grandfathers. Then, Yes I focused on my studies during Quarterly exams and did fairly good. Being almost every time in the top 5  and that too without tuitions (a trend in youth without which study seems impossible). And I have PCM. After that, the year went in touching the books, scribbling the feelings into words. I wrote a story. I started writing football match reviews. Receiving feedbacks was something nice...
