My Journey Summary

A true journey of a true human who is living a life of pure peace, result of hard work from the age of eight whose result he is getting at the age of eighty two. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam (Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam) was born in small town of Rameswaram which is a pilgrimage center of India. His all hard work gave him that award which people do not dream also, post of President of India and the highest civilian honor of India, Bharat Ratna. His whole life tells us one thing that only if you want to get something, you have to work hard. He is who believes in "God and Hard Work" only."I inherited honesty and self- discipline from my father; from my mother, I inherited faith in goodness and deep kindness as did my three brothers and sisters", quoted by him in his book "My Journey" which is published by Rupa publications. His great human nature also has a huge patience and passion in doing anything, for example his small aircraft project was once rejected by his Dean and he gave him the deadline of three days to recreate his project and he completed it before time. Often we hear from our elders that "Good deed will bring Good Result", certainly this life of Kalam sir is example of it, at the age of eight, he used to distribute newspaper along with his studies to financially support his family. His urge of studying and  to become literate taught him that hard work only leads to success. If anyone wants to achieve anything they should do it with full passion and hard work. If teens will read it, they could probably have a bright future. According to me, it is must read for children and students to get motivated to do something good for themselves, their family and the country.
